Recapping the 2019 Winter Wireless Charging Asia Expo and AirFuel member company jjPLUS’s Manager of Market Development & Product Planning, Leo Cheng’s presentation.

On November 15th, 2019, AirFuel was represented by jjPLUS at the 2019 Winter Wireless Charging Asia Expo. Details were shared on the next generation of wireless power technology and standards that eliminate consumer pain points of existing technology lack of spatial freedom, ability to only charge a single device at a time, and slow charging speeds. The AirFuel Resonant Standard was introduced alongside jjPLUS’s products and how they enable simple and quick integration of AirFuel Resonant technology in products. Imagine a world without cords where you don’t need to worry about plugging-in to charge-up!

Wireless Power is the Future

13 wireless power gurus presented at Chongdiantou, one of whom was Leo Cheng, who manages Market Development & Product Planning charter for jjPLUS (an AirFuel Alliance long-time member company). Leo said applications for jjPLUS’s resonant wireless power technology include robots and 5G, in which power transfers through the walls. He further shared that AirFuel Alliance’s next market planning and development focus will be exploring low-frequency applications. Leo also explained moving forward with a modularized “LEGO” approach to building AirFuel Resonant products.
