[:en]Recapping the 2019 Wireless Charging Asia Expo and AirFuel Asia Technology Lead’s presentation on the future of wireless power.

As part of our mission to bring leading edge wireless power solutions to market, we participate in a wide range of global events, speaking, sponsoring and hosting education opportunities.

On May 17, 2019, as the leader in next generation power technologies and standards essential to meeting consumer demands, we were invited by Chongdiantou to present at the 2019 Wireless Charging Asia Expo in Shenzhen on the future of wireless power. We are proud to have shared information about AirFuel Resonant and RF technologies as well as our industry perspective with the event’s attendees.

The Next Generation of Wireless Power is Here

At the expo, Chengbin Ma—AirFuel Asia Technology Lead and Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University—covered the following topics in his presentation to an audience of over 1000 technology enthusiasts, developers, and industry media:

      • Wireless Power Industry Overview
      • Market Demand and Use-Cases
      • Overview of the the AirFuel Alliance
      • AirFuel Resonant
      • AirFuel RF

“Airfuel offers next-generation wireless power technology. It increases spatial freedom, enables compact design, and further releases design freedom for subsequent optimization. It is an enabling technology that supports a wide range of existing and emerging applications.” – Chengbin Ma, AirFuel Asia Technology Lead

    Industry Reach

The 2019 Wireless Charging Asia Expo hosted over 3000 attendees and 16 speakers representing key players in the wireless power industry. Our participation was picked up by media outlets such as:

“It’s clear that the increasing number of wireless power events reflects the growing desire by both consumers and industries to cut the cord and offer better solutions.

Once companies understand that tech like the AirFuel standard can offer high power, spatial freedom, multi-device charging and high efficiency—they realize they can design and market a product that their customer will really want to buy.” – Paul Weiner, GaN Systems

We would like to thank Chengbin Ma for his showcase presentation, as well as Paul Weiner of GaN Systems and Winnie Wong of EPC Corporation for representing AirFuel and their member companies as they participated in the demo session. Thank you for making this a great event.

AirFuel is a global coalition of innovative companies who are committed to a world where we can power up without plugging in. Learn more about AirFuel technologies here.
