Seoul, SOUTH KOREA – November 2, 2020AirFuel™ Alliance, the authority on next-generation wireless power technology and standards, is co-hosting Wireless Power Week 2020 in partnership with IEEE Microwave Theory and Technique Society (MTT-S) and Power Electronics Society (PELS), to empower companies around the world to design, develop, and bring to market wireless power enabled products.

Wireless Power Week 2020 will take place from November 15-19 at Sejong University. Due to the coronavirus outbreak and travel restrictions, the event will be hosted live for local attendees and speakers, and virtually with flexibility in content viewing for international attendees and presenters.

Multiple program tracks include a Wireless Power Transfer Conference (WPTC 2020) and Workshop on Emerging Technologies in Wireless Power (WoW 2020) along with AirFuel Alliance’s Developer’s Forum. Attendees will enjoy multiple keynote addresses, lively panel discussions, and over 200 technical presentations in addition to multiple networking opportunities over 3 days.

Wireless Power Developers Forum

The Developer’s Forum will be hosted on November 19th. Registrants for this program track will enjoy an agenda packed with experts from wireless power industry leading companies spanning all aspects of the ecosystem such as Efficient Power Corporation (EPC), Energous, WiTricity, Omdia, Voltraware, GaN Systems and GPHY.  Some of the topics on the agenda will be dedicated to industry forecasting, demonstrations, and technical presentations on both RF and Magnetic Resonant wireless power technologies.

“AirFuel Alliance is at the forefront of next generation wireless power,” shared Sanjay Gupta, Chairman of the AirFuel Alliance. “We have developed globally interoperable specifications for Magnetic Resonance (AirFuel™ Resonant) that meet the expectations of consumers, and our members are currently working on RF wireless power specifications.”

Continuing, Dr. Gupta said, “AirFuel standards provide a proven path to larger charging surfaces, spatial mobility, and simultaneous charging of multiple devices. Together, the complimentary AirFuel Resonant and AirFuel RF™ technologies offer the flexibility and performance to power a wide range of applications. From robotics, to 5G CPEs, to IoT devices, shelf displays and wearables, our standards and training equip companies to bring new products and enhanced experiences to market.”

Tickets to the Developers Forum are currently available for both in-person and virtual attendees.  For more information or to register – visit https://airfuel.org/events/wireless-power-week-2020/.
